K S Telecom Inc.

K S Telecom, Inc. was originally founded as K S Telecommunications in 1995 and was incorporated as K S Telecom, Inc. in 1999. President and CEO Kent Vander Linden brings more than 40 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including engineering, operations, sales, and management.

For more than 30 years, K S Telecom has provided voice, data, and fiber optic cabling solutions throughout Northern California. Our team has completed projects ranging from large-scale fiber backbone and structured cabling installations for government facilities to communications infrastructure projects for commercial and industrial clients.

While our core expertise has always been voice, data, and fiber optic cabling, we expanded our services in 2007 to include audiovisual (AV), cable television (CATV), and video surveillance (CCTV) systems. Today, we serve a diverse customer base that includes commercial buildings, K-12 schools, colleges and universities, retail stores, government agencies, professional offices, restaurants, healthcare facilities, hotels, and industrial and distribution centers.

K S Telecom has extensive experience in the education sector, having completed infrastructure projects in more than 1000 schools throughout Northern California.

K S Telecom, Inc. has been participaing with E-Rate since 1998. We work with Schools and Libraries who receive partial federal funding for the upgrade and modernization of the communications systems of their older facilities. K S Telecom Inc. provides backbone cabling and voice and data drops to bring our classrooms up to current standards. We bill the federal government for the majority of the project, while our school districts pay the balance. We are experienced in all facets of E-Rate from quote, to funding commitments from the federal government, to project installation and finally billing. You can count on us for your E-Rate needs.

CMAS Contracts - Click

K S Telecom, Inc. has (7) CMAS contracts covering a variety of low voltage cabling and components. The CMAS contracting process is a convenient method of doing business for California State and Local governmental agencies. These contracts allow agencies to purchase a variety of information technology and non-informational technology products at prices which have been assessed to be fair, reasonable, and competitive via their tie to Federal GSA (General Service Administration) contracts. CMAS contracts comply with California procurement codes, guidelines, policies, and provide for the highest level of contractual protection. Our California Ordering Agencies can control the procurement process through the use of CMAS agreements.

Our customers will find access to our CMAS pricing for products in the telecommunications industry including cabling, components, and security products. Customers will have access to most of our partners including Panduit, Leviton, General Cable, Superior Essex, Ber-Tek, Cable Exchange, Avigilon, Axis, and many others.
